_Star (posted 02/04/12)
The Olympic Class Star has never been in the water. It's deck has never been drilled and no hardware has been set. The mast and boom are there---no sails or standing rigging. It's trailer has been customized to ramp-launch, but needs tires. The hull is in great shape. It belongs to the West Mesa High School JNROTC and your donation of $800.00 is tax deductible. 505-867-0026

_For Sale or Donation: 1995 MacGregor 26. (from December, 2011 Foghorn) (posted 01/27/12)
The boat is a standard MacGregor 26 with a small motor. It has a genoa, plus the standard things inside the boat: porta potty, sink, etc. It doesn't have a stove, or a radio. It has a zip up cover which at-taches to the cockpit, plus cushions for the cockpit. It is currently stored outside at a yard in Elephant Butte. It has been at Elephant Butte for most of the time we had it, sometimes buoyed in the water, but mostly in storage. The swing keel may not go down all the way, and I think the rudder may be "sticky," but it is in good shape other-wise. (I am not the"captain," but part of the crew, so can give you more exact details about the condition as needed). It is on a standard MacGregor trailer. I would prefer to sell it, but I don't know if there is a market for MacGregor's now. I would also consider donating it, if I could get a tax deduction for it. _For Sale: Ericson 35 MKII ~ Besame (posted 01/27/12)
General
The boat was purchased by the current owners with the intent of doing an extensive refit and cruise with her. Historically, she was bought new by a San Diego native, and raced and lived on for most of her life. She was subsequently purchased by an individual from Arizona. Several “creature comforts” were added by that owner, including a new range, refrigeration and battery charger and propane tank holder.
